OK what is it about my clients that don't realize that my time is valuable and worth something and that I am providing them with a very expensive service FOR FREE oh and also that they are not my only clients, that I have a case load of about 25 cases, meaning 50 PEOPLE who want my help!
I have had 2 no shows in the last 2 days, so completely annoying. Yesterday's didn't really surprise me, the client told me that they were considering reconcilling when she called to book the appointment. She then stated that she wanted to come in anyway because at the very least I could provide her with counselling resources. I assumed once she didn't show up that they DID reconcile but what ever happened to common curtesy and cancelling the appointment. That was an hour that I could have EASILY filled with my other clients...but hey at least I got caught up on phone calls and paperwork.
Today's clients on the other hand really did surprise me - it was for a joint mediation session and neither party called nor showed up...nice huh? I guess this means I am assuming that the session we booked on the 4th of June is also not going ahead so obviously I will be rebooking that time for other clients...almost makes me wish they show up then so I can turn them away!!!!
